What is AlleyNYC?

We are a dynamic 16,000 square foot co-working space centered in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Our fully equipped space features all of the usual office stuff (desks, comfy chairs, WiFi, flat screens, printers, conference/board rooms, a stocked kitchen) plus a dope atmosphere where some of the most innovative entrepreneurs come to collaborate every day.
 

Who is the team behind AlleyNYC?

Our team epitomizes entrepreneurial spirit and is extremely active in the NYC start-up community. We’ve built this company over the last two years from the ground up and, to be honest, we haven’t even scratched the surface yet. We want people who share our passion for innovation and our drive for success. We only accept the best people. No douche bags allowed.
 

Are there day pass memberships available?

Of course! Alleys Day and Night passes, as they are called, range from $20$30 and give you access to everything that makes Alley different from the typical office. For Alley Days you get access from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and for Nights from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, just enough time to make you want to come back again, and again.
 

What does the space look like?

We have 128 desks, 20 offices (ranging from small to medium to large) with the aggregate capacity of 145, a yoga room, a café and lounge, two board rooms, a couch room, and numerous places to sit and collaborate.
 

How is AlleyNYC different than other co-working spaces in New York?

We have the chillest, most innovative, driven, and sexiest people around. We pride ourselves on being more than just a space; we are a community.
 

What are Alley’s hours?

We’re open 9 AM  8 PM daily for tours and events, while membership gives you 24/7 access to the space.
 

How many companies/entrepreneurs are currently in the space?

We currently have 91 businesses in the space, ranging in scope from software and media to fashion and design.
 

Who is currently in the space?

We have a wide ranging variety of business in different stages of their development. Some are self-employed freelancers in the early stages of their business, while others are in later stages with well-established teams of over 10.
 

How many events does Alley put on each week?

The number of events Alley hosts varies by week, however there are at least 2 – 3 events occurring each day.
 

Who is invited to events?

Everyone!  While members attend for free, we sell tickets to the public through Eventbrite and Meetup.
 

Do members have to pay for tickets to events?

Nope!
 

Can members host their own events?

Absolutely! We encourage members to use Alley to host their events.
 

What is Happy Hour/Treat Yo Self Fridays?

Happy Hour is a weekly event we host Wednesdays & Fridays after 5 PM, open to the public. During Happy Hour, we showcase different start-ups from the space. It's an awesome opportunity to grab a few beers, relax, and mingle with peers. Treat Yo Self Fridays entails free breakfast, lunch, and a complimentary massage for members.
